It took a while to discover that Real Estate was my passion, but once I did, I never looked back! After completing a Master’s degree in International Law and working in the industry for ten years, it was by chance that I delved into the world of houses. Like most people when they decide to buy a home, I had great expectations of what I wanted in a home, but I was disappointed by the reality of what I could afford. This all changed when I went into an open house of a house that was far from ‘move-in ready’. At that moment, I discovered that I have the ability to see the potential on a house. In 1998, I entered the world of real estate, by purchasing and renovating a fixer-upper! I spent the next ten years buying, renovating and reselling my own personal residences. While doing my renovations and working with various Real Estate agents in Ottawa to sell my homes, I learned the importance of properly presenting homes in the market. Many of the agents that I worked with would ask me to help them get their listings ready for the market; so unsurprisingly I stepped into the world of staging. In my mind, I was becoming more anchored in the industry. From there, I took full time employment working for various New Home Builders and Condo Developers in the city. That knowledge and experience has proved invaluable. The final step was to become a fully licensed Real Estate Professional! Here I am today, almost 10 years later, working as an Ottawa Real Estate Agent in a fast paced, exciting industry that I adore, where all the skills and knowledge from my own personal experience have become the cornerstone of our services to clients. It is extremely rewarding being so involved with folks who trust us to work with them through life-changing situations and help them achieve their dreams!
