I have lived in Ottawa all my life giving me a great working knowledge of the City. I am the youngest of 6 kids and have an extended family of over 200 giving me a strong sense of family values. Before Real Estate I spent 10 years working as a Professional Accountant. After joining large group of Real Estate investors led by Scott McGillivray and Michael Sarracini of HGTV’s longest running show Income Property. They helped me discover my purpose in life which is to use Real Estate to help family friends and charity. After finishing 8 years of service as an Army Reserve officer I used that opportunity to become a Realtor so I could be involved in Real estate full time to better fulfill that purpose. In addition to my professional accounting and military training I have also worked with my father, brother and 2 brother in laws to build my parents retirement house from scratch. I have volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, worked hand in hand with contractors on renovations to my properties and have taken cabinetry course through Algonquin, These experiences have given me hands on experience with building materials, systems and code which is hard to match. I have been investing in Real Estate since 2008 and have taken course in residential rentals, apartment buildings, rent to own, suiting houses & RRSP mortgages. In addition to belonging to Scott McGillivray’s National Group of Investors I also belong to the Ottawa Real Estate Investors Organization (OREIO).
